July 28, 2028  - ‘Understanding Climate Change in California' Workshop  (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)

CENTRAL CALIFORNIA EDUCATORS! The California Department of Water Resources and Project WET program invite grade 3 through 12 educators to join us for a workshop experience focused on the science of climate change. You’ll learn how climate change is affecting California water resources, the use of science to safeguard California’s water supplies – and how the activities of Project WET can help you integrate climate science knowledge, concepts and skills into your curriculum. For a $20 registration fee, participants will receive great information on current climate science as applied in California, a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, breakfast and lunch, an opportunity to receive 0.8 CEU credit - and a $50 stipend + return of their full registration fee following completion of the training.
