NORTH COAST EDUCATORS! Join a Project WET hybrid workshop experience exploring activities that engage students in the study of our local watershed connections to the Pacific Ocean in addition to skills, concepts and teaching practices at the heart of NGSS and Common Core standards. The training will include an introduction to the use of Project WET standards pools by grade bands as models for using Project WET activities, plus an introduction to local citizen science and stewardship opportunities that would allow students to apply what they learn – whether in class or at home with parents. Participants will receive a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, an agenda showing standard connections, free access to the Project WET online Portal, resources for action projects, and an option to receive CEU credits.  Contact Laura Powell for more information at 707-338-0675 or click here to register by October 29, 2020!
