SAN DIEGO REGION EDUCATORS! Join the California Department of Water Resources Climate Change Team, US Geological Survey California Water Science Center and Project WET for a day learning about state and local research into the science of climate change, how local to Federal water managers are using the science to safeguard California’s water supply and engineer climate resilient communities – and how the interdisciplinary activities of Project WET can help you integrate climate change science knowledge, concepts and skills back in the classroom! Participant will walk away with great information on current climate science, a copy of the Project WET Guide 2.0, a light breakfast, lunch, an opportunity to receive 0.8 CEU credit - and a $50 stipend following completion of the training.
