Sierra Crest to San Francisco Bay | Treasure Island, CA | February 1 and March 14, 2020
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA EDUCATORS! Join us for a two-day experience exploring how land-based events and climate change are impacting the San Francisco Bay watershed from Sierra Crest to San Francisco Bay. In this workshop, we will weave together NGSS and language learning priorities (CC) via proven strategies. Building on existing resources (Amplify) we will focus on time saving instructional strategies that support students as they move beyond academics to community-based action. Planning time is built into the second day to ensure that workshop tools from Project WET, Treasure Island Sailing Center and California Coastal Commission will be well-integrated in your curricula. A light Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day and activities will be indoors and outdoors.Click here to register!
