Outdoor Education Institute | Whiskeytown National Recreation Area (NRA) | October 21-22, 2017
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA EDUCATORS! Join us for an overnight, informative, fun-filled, weekend focused on educating in the great outdoors at Whiskeytown Environmental School! Learn how to seamlessly integrate standards-based outdoor education into your curriculum and organize educational field trips for school or community groups. Participants will complete Project Learning Tree and Project WET workshops, receive curriculum guides and other useful materials, and be further inspired with special presentations on local educational resources. Participants may choose to attend one or both days. A non-refundable $45 application fee includes food and materials.
