Imperial Valley and the Colorado River Watershed Workshop | El Centro, CA | November 21, 2019

IMPERIAL COUNTY EDUCATORS! The Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE), in partnership with the Imperial Irrigation District (IID) and California Project WET, invite you to join us for an exciting journey in the Colorado watershed, from the continental crest to the Gulf of California. Participants in this systems thinking workshop will experience the use of remote sensing tools to help students acquire key 21st century skills and Project WET watershed investigations featuring direct physical investigation of water phenomena, while connecting to concepts and skills at the heart of Next Generation Science and Common Core Standards.

This free workshop includes lunch, your own copy of Project WET 2.0 with access to over 110 Common Core and NGSS correlated activities, co-planning time - and substitute fees for you to attend will be covered!
