Central Valley Floodplain Ecology Institute | Fresno, CA | June 13-17, 2016

SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY EDUCATORS! Join the Central Valley Science Projects, CSU-Fresno, FCOE, CREEC and SAM Academy for this Institute as they host this exploration of the waterways that nourish the San Joaquin Valley. The Delta, the San Joaquin and Kings River serve as backdrops to this summer institute. Topics will include current water issues, NGSS aligned environmental science content and curriculum focused on floodplain, riparian and Delta ecologies. You will also walk away with a tool bag of valuable resources from curriculum to certificates, including Project WET, the Education & the Environment Initiative (EEI), NGSS and other tools. College credit and a $200 stipend are also available, and space is limited to the first 30 participants! Registration fee is $45.00.
