ONLINE TRAINING
Project WET strongly believes that face-to-face interactions provide a valuable training experience for educators of all types. However, we recognize that this is not always possible due to distance, scheduling conflicts, health concerns and convenience. Therefore we have several options for online or virtual trainings for formal and non-formal educators as well as corporate partners and employees. If you are a pre K-12 formal or non-formal educator, we encourage you to talk to your local Project WET partner as they may be offering live virtual trainings or other local online trainings.

THE PROJECT WET CURRICULUM AND ACTIVITY GUIDE 2.0
The Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 Online Training is a digital interactive workshop for educators who are unable to attend an in-person Project WET workshop. The Online Training gives educators information about Project WET and leads them through activities from Guide 2.0. It also includes required workshop components such as practice teaching, information on educational standards related to Guide 2.0 and internet resources, all in a self-paced, interactive format. At the completion of the Online Training, educators will receive a print copy of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 and certification as a Project WET educator. This training is only available through your local Project WET partner.

WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH)
Are you interested in educating your community about water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)? The need for this topic of water education is greater than ever before! Visit our WASH page for more information on our WASH resources and to access this free training.

Clean and Conserve
The Clean and Conserve program was born out of a partnership between Project WET and Ecolab in 2014. The suite of materials that the program offers include lessons that focus on sanitation and water conservation (in addition to a KIDS booklet, early childhood activity story book and a high school project guide on the same topics). Each activity has its own online training to ensure educators are comfortable teaching the topics and activities.

DISTANCE LEARNING RESOURCES
In March 2020 COVID-19 (aka the Coronavirus) forced school closures for the foreseeable future and cancelled professional development training for teachers. Project WET wants to ensure that water education continues for people of all ages and so we have created a suite of free and discounted resources that educators, parents and children can use to learn about water while meeting standards in math, language arts, science and even fine arts.
