Hi, I’m your friendly neighborhood Project WET Coordinator here in Washington State—where the salmon are strong, the rivers are complex, and the love for outdoor learning runs deep. I have a Master’s in STEM Leadership, which basically means I can talk curriculum and identify aquatic macroinvertebrates with equal enthusiasm.

With over 20 years of experience teaching in both formal classrooms and mud-splattered, trail-covered, wader-required settings, I’ve learned that the best kind of learning often involves getting a little soggy. There’s nothing quite like watching a teacher step into a stream for the first time, net in hand, eyes wide, suddenly more excited than their students.

My mission? To get as many educators (and their students) outdoors, knee-deep in real-world science, exploring watersheds, marveling at salmon, and realizing that the best kind of connection doesn’t come from Wi-Fi: it is in the water.
