Organizational Assistant Job Posting

This is a part-time position (20hours/week or 0.5 FTE)


The Project WET Foundation, a 501(c)3 dedicated to advancing water education to understand global challenges and inspire local solutions, is looking to hire a motivated individual to assist with necessary operations of the Project WET Foundation. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with general inquiries, sales of educational resources, partner communications, office management, maintaining/updating website content and program implementation. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule during normal business hours of 9-5 for 20 hours per week.  The Organizational Assistant will need to travel to our warehouse location a few times per week and may otherwise choose to work from an office space at the warehouse or from their own home office.

Most Project WET employees are currently working remotely and will continue to do so during the global pandemic. We take every precaution to protect employees from COVID-19 exposure at the workplace. We are an equal opportunity and family-friendly organization.


•     Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

•     One to three years of experience in customer service or other related field

•     Background in marketing and communications preferred

•     Experience managing or creating webpages and social media content desired

•     Experience with Salesforce preferred

•     Combination of education and experience may be considered

•     Computer skills – proficient in using Microsoft Office programs and typing

•     Language skills – capable of reading and writing the English language in a professional manner

•     Organization skills – maintaining tasks and objects in a logical arrangement so they are easily located

•     Problem-solving skills – discovering, analyzing and fixing issues that need attention

•     Ability to lift 50-pound boxes



To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform these essential duties satisfactorily:

Respond to general emails and sales requests, ensuring a positive customer service experience

•     Assist with the processing and shipping of sales orders from warehouse location

•     Support educators with online training and digital education inquiries

•     Manage office/warehouse and home office needs

•     Maintain current information about partners and events on the Project WET website

•     Maintain updated partner information in Salesforce

•     Communicate with international partners, including organizing agreements and contracts

•     Support communications (i.e., social media and storytelling)


Compensation: $17-$18/hour DOE, with potential for growth
