The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC), a nonprofit organization that promotes and certifies habitat conservation and management on corporate lands, is hosting an environmental education webinar on September 11th. The free online event, How to Select the Best Lessons for Your Education Projects, will help participants identify and use educational activities in their corporate conservation program.

As the WHC website explains, there are many details to consider when corporations decide to use their habitat for education. To address that, the webinar gathers "leaders in curricula and seasoned practitioners to show you the way to success in selecting the perfect lessons for your K-12 age audience, whether it’s formal education (schools) or informal education (event days, fairs and scouting groups)."

Among other things, participants will learn:

• How to select ready-made lessons and get volunteers or local educators trained in those lessons
• How to identify the best curricula and connect with resources that meet the learning needs of your audience
• How to demonstrate a project's correlation to standards
