Calling the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 "comprehensive, with sound pedagogy and thoughtful activities," an expert reviewer from the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) has enthusiastically recommended Guide 2.0 to science teachers. Writing in a review posted recently in the NSTA Recommends® section of their website, Diane Wiig, a Professor of Science/Mathematics Methods, said Guide 2.0 "is easy to follow with specific directions on how to make connections and the relevancy of the topic to individual interests."

The NSTA recommendation is the latest accolade for Guide 2.0. In May, the flagship Project WET publication was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2013 Independent Publisher Book Awards contest, which recognizes the year's best independently published books in a broad range of subjects.

Distributed to formal and non-formal educators through workshops offered across the country by Project WET's network of local and state partners, Guide 2.0 is not available for direct sale to the public. However, educators who have previously taken a Project WET workshop can purchase and complete an online refresher course to obtain the resource.
