We are always looking for new partners.

Our award-winning program is delivered by a network of exceptional educators who bring the world’s most comprehensive water education materials to communities across the United States.  We need Host Institutions—organizations eager to play an integral role in reaching children, parents, educators and communities with water education—to educate and inspire action around water. Think your organization might make a good partner?

As a Project WET Host Institution, you will:

  • become part of an unparalleled network of water educators.
  • receive formal status and recognition as an official provider of Project WET workshops.
  • gain access to opportunities for start-up services.
  • have distribution rights for the comprehensive and field-tested Project WET Curriculum & Activity Guide.
  • obtain access to the premiere online water education portal and the Project WET USA WebOffice.
  • receive discounts on Project WET publications and conferences.

What kind of an organization makes a good Host Institution?

Most of our current Host Institutions fall into one of these categories:

  • universities and colleges
  • museums and other cultural institutions
  • aquariums and zoos
  • nongovernmental organizations
  • state and local agencies
  • municipal utilities such as water districts
  • water centers and institutes

Don’t see your type of organization on the list? Please contact us anyway! We are open to new and innovative partnerships with organizations interested in water education.

What makes a Host Institution successful?

  • A shared passion for changing lives through water education.
  • The institutional capacity to establish and implement a Project WET program within a defined geographic area.
  • The budget to hire or assign a Project WET coordinator.
  • The ability to deliver water education training to educators through Project WET workshops and online training.
