Katherine became a part of the Project WET team in 2016 as an intern. Originally from Bozeman, she moved to Cody (Wyoming) with her family and graduated from high school there as a junior. She spent her senior year abroad as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in Switzerland and is currently a freshman at Montana State University, where she is studying Film and German. After three years of studying Broadcast Journalism, she has developed a passion for film and has won several awards, including the Al Neuharth Free Spirit Journalist award in 2015. She also loves teaching kids, and future aspirations include nonprofit work and spending time abroad doing mission work and creating documentaries. Katherine enjoys the beautiful outdoors of Montana while fly fishing, skiing, climbing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to be a part of the team and to help promote worldwide water education.
