LOS ANGELES SECONDARY TEACHERS! The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California invites you to kick-off the New Year with a Project WET workshop designed for Secondary teachers and aimed directly at current water issues and Next Generation Science Standards! Join us as weave “Science and Engineering Practices” (SEPs) and Cross Cutting Concepts into the engaging content (DCIs) already featured in two outstanding and proven curricular tools: Project Wet and California’s place-based EEI. Our workshop models activities that are practical for teachers, yet also engages student interdisciplinary critical thinking skills that are at the core of CCSS and NGSS.
