Project WET Workshop | Nevada City, CA | April 18, 2016
NEVADA COUNTY AREA EDUCATORS! If April 4th doesn’t work for you, the South Yuba River Conservation League (SYRCL) is offering another chance to attend a FREE Project Wet Training for teachers! These trainings target water conservation and watershed health, introducing educators to Project Wet’s standards-based curriculum guide by reenacting activities, reviewing program standards, and guided collaboration. Trainings are offered at the elementary and secondary level. All attendees will receive a free copy of the Project Wet Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0. Trainings are 6 hours long, and teachers have the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.
To learn about upcoming trainings or to schedule a training for your school, contact SYRCL’s River Education Coordinator, Heather Kallevig via phone at 530-265-5961 x218 or via e-mail .
