Julia Nelson brings international experience and a background in biology to the Project WET Foundation. She has traveled in over 23 countries throughout the world, including much of Southeast Asia and Africa. Prior to joining the Project WET Foundation, she studied kit foxes, taught sixth grade students in an outdoor science school and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Environment Sector in Madagascar.

Julia started at Project WET as the International Projects Assistant but quickly transitioned into the position of Project Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. She received her B.A. in Biology from Colorado College and her M.S. from the Ecology Department at Montana State University.
