John Etgen

John Etgen, Senior Vice President

John has more than 20 years of experience delivering conservation education to students, adults, educators and special-interest groups. Prior to becoming senior vice president at the Project WET Foundation, John served as vice president for development and partnerships, director of the Healthy Water Healthy People program and Project WET Montana coordinator. John’s accomplishments at the Project WET Foundation include expansion of its international network to more than 50 countries and counting.

John has an M.S. in science education from Montana State University. A former naturalist and environmental education specialist in Glacier National Park, he was awarded the 2000 Conservation Educator of the Year award by the Montana Wildlife Federation.
