Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
February 2 is World Wetlands Day! This year's theme is Wetlands Tourism: A Great Experience.

You can celebrate and learn about wetlands--without disturbing any ducks or plants--by visiting Investigate Fresh Water at DiscoverWater.org! At the Investigate Fresh Water page, you can:
• Explore fresh water and terrestrial environments, including wetlands and learn about the animals that call them home.
• Watch a video about macroinvertebrates.
• Create a personalized Take Action Poster as a reminder about how you can help protect wetlands.
• Print out and complete a My Science Notebook page.
• Check out the complete Educator Resources, including activities, assessments, extensions and standard correlations.
World Wetlands Day is a great way to bring wetlands into your classroom or home!
